Dear ETCA Members and Friends,

As a tradition, ETCA will have a Spring Picnic Party. Please bring your family and friends to come for fun and gastronomic enjoyment.

Time: Sunday 5/11 3:00-8:00 pm
Location: the Cove at Concord Park
Activities: Social, Games, and Dinner (details below)

Games include:
(1) Volleyball game between Oak Ridge and Knoxville Captains: Gu Baohua (gub1@ornl.gov) for Oak Ridge Team and Yan Xuedong (xyan1@utk.edu) for Knoxville Team, please contact them for pre-registration)
(2) Tug-of-war (Ba He), organizer: Wang Hsin
(3) Jumping rope, 'Tao Quan', etc. organizer: Li Licheng

Dinner:
(1) Each family needs to bring a dish to share at the party. A special board led by Liu Jie will vote the top 10 dishes for awards.
(2) ETCA will order some restaurant dishes and drinks.

Other items:
(1) Update ETCA activities in the period of 9/07-5/08 and plan for the coming months.
(2) ETCA membership registration for new members or people who missed the fall party last year (annual fees: $30 for a family member and $15 for an individual member).
(3) Distribute DVDs of 2008 East TN Chinese New Year Performance Night (for active members and on-demand only)
